1. Move the stick to where I want it, tap the trim button, release the stick to center it - nothing, the helicopter goes crazy
2. Hold the trim button, put it into the position I want, release the trim button and the stick - nothing, the helicopter goes crazy
3. Click the trim button around like crazy - also nothing
Does what you've written correspond to any of these?
Press and hold trim button, set new attitude, release the trim button.
After releasing the trim button the output will be frozen until you re-center your controllers. This will avoid to helicopter going crazy.
Whether I hold and release, or shortly tap the button (I've seen conflicting hints on how to do this, so I'm mentioning them both), the "After releasing the trim button the output will be frozen until you re-center your controllers. This will avoid to helicopter going crazy." part doesn't happen. The input just doesn't get locked in place.
It works for the rudder input though. Not for the cyclic.
I've tried all the three (default/centered/no spring) trim options in the special settings. All with the same result.
