UH-1H Huey trim doesn't set
I can't set the trim on the helicopter. I set the attitude, press the trim button, I see it being pressed on the screen and I hear the click, I quickly release the joystick but the helicopter doesn't hold the attitude, it reacts normally. No trim is being set.
What could I be doing wrong? Did something got broken with the game or is it just me?

Press the trim button, set new attitude, release trim. Don't forget to recenter stick.

Here's how I tried it:
1. Move the stick to where I want it, tap the trim button, release the stick to center it - nothing, the helicopter goes crazy
2. Hold the trim button, put it into the position I want, release the trim button and the stick - nothing, the helicopter goes crazy
3. Click the trim button around like crazy - also nothing

Does what you've written correspond to any of these?

It goes crazy because without force feedback the total stick position is trimmed position+your controller position. You must re-center you controller fast or in special menu turn on the central position trim mode. If you turn it on, it will work this way:

Press and hold trim button, set new attitude, release the trim button.

After releasing the trim button the output will be frozen until you re-center your controllers. This will avoid to helicopter going crazy.
No, what I meant by saying it goes crazy is because it loses all collective input. I keep the cyclic forward to keep the nose down, I tap on the trim button, quickly release the stick to center it and the helicopter's nose suddenly goes up because there is no more forward control being applied. Because the trim just doesn't set.

Whether I hold and release, or shortly tap the button (I've seen conflicting hints on how to do this, so I'm mentioning them both), the "After releasing the trim button the output will be frozen until you re-center your controllers. This will avoid to helicopter going crazy." part doesn't happen. The input just doesn't get locked in place.

It works for the rudder input though. Not for the cyclic.

I've tried all the three (default/centered/no spring) trim options in the special settings. All with the same result.

Do you have turned on central position trim mode in special menu for UH-1H?

Found it. Had to uncheck "Force Feedback" in Options > Misc.

Thanks for trying to help, Troll Norris, much appreciated.
