How do you actvate the keyboard,alot of the keys don't work e.g at night for night vision googles keys R/shift H won't switch on the googles on is there something I have to do. thanks

sorry its with Hueyand aircraft from FC3.

In FC3 (going from memory so bear with me :D) I think you get equiped with the Night Vision Goggles (NVG) or the Helmet Mounted Sight (HMS) but not both at the same time. You need to use the ground crew radio to ask for one or the other to be installed.

For the Huey, in a 2AM mission then 'right shift + H' seems to work ok for me as a toggle for NVG on a default loadout mission from the editor:

im also having the same problem with A-10a. keys not working

Its not just the NVG's its a lot of keys on all aircraft any ideas.

Are upgrading from an earlier installed version or trying a beta? Often the controls profile won't migrate that way. You can test that out but resetting your control profile. Rename the directory:

X:\Users\(YourWindowsUsername)\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

to 'Input-backup' and restart DCS. It will create a new one with defaults.

How come,alot of the keys don't work e.g at night for night vision googles keys R/shift H won't switch on the googles trying to complete the Huey missions but cant, allso in the Huey traning mission on weapons ask to press 3 to go to door gunner and it fires the rockets this in now getting beyon a joke have tried remaping but still no use.found that if i try to comunicate with ATC its not the" /" key on my kryboard its the "#" key that works. thanks

The training mission is broken. I had the same problem. The other stuff, IDK.

I'm running windows 7 would that be a problem can you get your NVG's to work as well ?

Did you try creating a new profile as described above?

Is it a EN-US keyboard and locale?

No totaly forgot about it just doing it now.Think its a EN keyboard and locale does it need to be a EN-US keyboard and locale?
