Throttle Issue in missions not training
Sorry for the noob question right off the bat. If I start any ot the training missions in the A10C, I have full throttle control. When I switch to missions, the throttle is locked forward and I have no control over it. Any suggestions as to what I'm overlooking?

If it's a cold start then you could try nudge the throttles forward with:

Right Alt+Home for left engine, Right Ctrl+Home for right engine.

Either that or check to see if Options / Misc / Synchronize Cockpit Controls HOTAS is turned off.

You can use the Right Control + Enter key to bring up an in-game Axis viewer too.

The problem doesn't happen when I'm in a training scenario. Do the whole start up process and throttle moves as it should. Exit out, touch nothing and enter a mission. Doesn't matter whether I'm a cold start or in the air, I will now have no control of the throttle and it is pushed all the way forward. I've tried missions, campaign and all the same. If I go back to training the throttle again works. Moving back and fourth as it's suppose to.

The new Saitek X55 HOTAS. Ok I appear to have gotten it working. I have the synchronize cockpit turned off. I will continue to play around with it and see if the problem is fixed across the board. I'm sorry for the questions but I'm just learning my way in DCS. Thanks for the help.

Not sure why it would always work in training but not actual missions though!

No worries, plus glad you have it working better now.

The training mission may have a trigger set up to disable the auto sync of the controls, while actual missions won't. In the mission editor this is under triggers, set a mission start > no condition > prevent controls sync "on" trigger.

The autosync allows various HOTAS setups (like the TM Warthog) to set the in-game switches/setup to reflect how you have them set up on your device (sort of like an active pause for the cockpit). For the training missions they wanted that off I guess.
