Setting up a Cyborg FLY 5
So I have the Cyborg FLY 5. But I'm having serious problems setting it up properly. I've tried it for the A-10C but without any result. Does anyone have a profile I could use for this or someone with a similar design? I'm used to flying in FSX but I tried to replicate this in DCS but that's not working out for me. I can't really find out how to bind the Spoilers/Airbreaks or the breaks.
Buttons: 1 Trigger, 4 thumb buttons on the stick, 1 hotas 8-direction switch, 1 thumb-scroller, 2 throttle sliders and 6 buttons on the base. It also has a shift function meaning I could use eacht button twice.
I hope someone can help me with setting it up.
Regards,

I've got the same stick, but use it for the SU-25t and the black shark 2. I never really had any problems I can think of. I just went into controls and assigned the buttons there. No problems.

Is the mad katz stick showing up on the controls list? along with keyboard and mouse?

What problem are you having exactly?

Well the main problem I have is that notthing is bound to the stick default but when I go and assign buttons it tells me that there's stuff bound to that button and I'm afraid to screw it up. What kind of stuff do you have on your Sticks and which do you use the keyboard for. Mostly i'm affraid to screw it all up.

Note that you have to keep pressing the key to "open" airbrakes as you can leave them in "half-opened" state. Same thing with "closing" the airbrakes, you have to keep pressing the button during opening/closing long enough. It's not a toggle so you do need separate key for opening and closing.
I've found that for a simple joystick it's better to leave most into keyboard and just use bare minimum in the joystick - less hassle about it that way. I am about to do upgrade but for various reasons I've used the same joystick also.
