Edit: the step at about 4:19 in the above for mixture..
Also, the amount throttle is opened is really small, barely anything at all..
Hold starter longer. You have cold oil so the propeller does not want to turn.
IRL the pilot manualy makes 4 turns by prop to "lubricate" the bearigs e.t.c. Here you have to do it by starter.
The real startup procedure is:
Air inlet- RAM air
Carburator heater - off
Flaps - full up
Batt - on
Gen - on
Prop Max RPM
Throttle 1"
Oil and engine radiator - fully open.
Magnetos - off
Micture - cutoff
fuel selector - left wing
fuel shutoff - on
fuel boost - on
prime engine. In normal temperature 3-4 seconds
Hold starter
After 4 blades over your cocpit, switch magnetos to both.
Once the engines "catches", fuel mixture to auto.
Hold 1200-1300 rpm to warmup oil to 40°C at least
