Anyway to counter bmp-2 in a10a?
The retarded things kill me more than shilkas and sam sites,how do I counter them?

Make the initial approach at around 6000-10000ft, keep the target on your 1-2 o'clock or 10-11 o'clock. When you're ~2miles out roll hard onto the target, shoot a 2 second burst from anywhere around 1.7-1.5 miles out - that should kill it without giving it time to hit you.

I'll have to try that,those things are worse than SA-11s.

bmp-2 and gepard can be tricky but the same rules apply for most other AAA, just fly high outside their envelope and drop a bomb on them. just what I'd do for that situation.

I think trying to guns run a capable AAA system is both unpredictable and ill advised.... however I realize sometimes you do things because its hard or challenging.... shilkas I find are simple given that their positions are always given away.

Don't fly straight at it until you're comfortably within firing range. If you see it's muzzle flash before you get your rounds off, immediately break then reset and you should avoid that burst comfortably.

OP is right, because of the way AI works, aims&shoots in DCS, BMPs are way more dangerous than Shilkas. Really hope ED will get back to that with DCS 1.5 or 2.0.

As others said, altitude is your friend, since it is a lighty armored vehicle you don't need to be so close for a lethal gun burst.
