Can someone please explaing the hike in pricing for DCS modules?
Is valve just getting greedy or what? I have check the actual DCS website and the price hasn't changed there so, what the hell? Does valve really need to line their pockets with more money? I mean, they're already loaded with cash, whats with the price hike?

What do you mean by "hike in pricing" ? They cost the same as before.

Actually L-39 is 1€ LESS than other modules of similar model level (ASM and PFM).

heh loaded in cash, I highly doubt they make that many sales but I'm sure they are in the black, would you rather them go out of business and have DCS world die?

keep in mind maybe its a steam thing, higher prices in different currencies who knows if its steam slappin on extra bit ontop of what ED wants for themselves.

Base price is in US dollars and is unchanged. Valve periodically updates currency conversion rates to show local currency pricing. Unless overridden by the publisher, these rates are Steam-wide and not DCS specific.

For the OP in Canada, the ED store will charge in US dollars and then either their credit card or payment provider will convert to Canadian dollars - ironically at a worse rate than the current Steam one. 1CDN = 0.75USD

Actually most of the modules have gone up from £29.99 to £32.99.... I've been waiting for a an offer to appear for Hawk for ages.... it seems they ran a few offers at the start of the year.... but nothing since before Summer.
Now the prices are higher..... great stuff..

Eagerly anticipating DCS2 though.

keep in mind ED doesn't dictate 3rd party module makers prices, the makers usually want good money because they've invested a year or two of their life in a project.
