Problem with thrustmaster t flight stick x

Hello, yesterday ive bought the above joystick and a friend helped me set it up, everything worked fine. Today i wanted to edit some buttons on my joystick to different bindings and all of the sudden my joystick doesnt work (my buttons do). I can configure everything except the joystick itself. Going left right up or down doesnt work. Ive even tried to reconfigure them to joy_y and joy_z without any succes. The rudder i can get to work on joy_rz (twisting the joystick)

Anyone know what the problem is?

the joystick axis is just not being read anymore at all?

the only thing I can say is verify windows sees the axis outside of DCS, perhaps its a joystick driver issue if windows can't see it either. like check its calibration in windows itself. and make sure you are assigning to the right column in the options menu, sometimes devices being unplugged and plugged in can change which column the joystick actually is.

if RZ is working i'm unsure why Y and X would not read.

I had that stick in a version that could switch between PS4 & PC. Are you sure yours is still set to PC?

Did you plugin your joystick after starting the game? I sometimes forget to plugin the joystick before starting the game and then the game doesn't reconise my joystick.

It has always been set too pc.

Rown, ive tried those things before with no succes.

Right now i try to see if it works and if i hold my joystick to the right it throttles up? :/

I have the exact same issue...you found anything new here? It never worked for me tho. I can configure the joystick it reads the axis but as soon as I'm in a Cockpit it just doesen't work anymore except for the rudder.

If I move the joystick the flightstick wiggles around in the cockpit but does not do the same movement I do. Same for the throttle :/

A friend fixed it for me, sadly i do not know the fix myself. I can get a answer but it will be as much chinese as it was to mee. In the end ive just bought the logitech joystick which i enjoy more then the thrustmaster to be honest. Good spend of 50€ i must say. And no problems with settings :)
