Stuttering since upgrade

I have an i7 13400 with 4060 ti and it ran sweet. Now it stutters so bad as to be unplayable... please help! Thanks.

Try to disable core parking.

I've noticed stuttering too, also I dont want to disable parking, which is needed for some backgroung jobs.

its core parking or if your extremely unlucky your processor has started to degrade.

Spoke too soon. The stuttering is terrible. Cores are unparked. It's unflyable after this upgrade.... my system runs everything else fine...

Fortunately Intel is reclaiming aslo undamaged CPUs without any tests because they have no technique how to find degraded CPUs.

I assumed nvidia just auto updated drivers but i just reinstalled and early on it seems to be running smooth now... shlda done that first, duh. I think that may have been the issue... i'm hoping

You can try to delete shader cachce. Delete the "metashaders2" folder located in directory "%userprofile%\saved games\dcs\"

I'll give this a shot... I'm still stuttering like crazy. Everything else is running smooth and this game ran beautiful until update... thanks

I've disabled core parking, installed latest nvidia driver, got rid of metashaders2 all to no avail. I don't know what the update did but it wrecked the game. The stuttering is terrible. I'm at a loss...

Few people tried this when nothing else worked on the main DCS forums, some even had success just by resetting how to play it on Steam, changing it from Play MT Preview back to Play Steam Edition, bit weird but has worked, even some of the ED team said to do it.

I sure appreciate the help. I have also assumed once I unparked the cores they stayed unparked... I unparked again after a restart and dcs ran flawlessly... I'll let ya know...

There is no rhyme or reason. Now it's unplayable again. After a restart and and another unpark of the cores. This just started happening with dcs and all programs like msfs and other sims run smooth as silk. It's a bad stutter....

That's quite interesting because according to last news there is no longer ST. So no matter if you select standard or MT, it should be the same. Next patch the MT option should be removed.

Also experience terrible stuttering with RTX 4090 (Beta) in VR on my Quest 3. Almost unplayable.
