Tobii Eye Tracker Stopped Working

It seems like Tobii updated their software and DCS updated their software since I played in the last few weeks. Tobii Eye Tracking is no longer working in DCS only. MSFS 2020 is still working for instance.

I don't want to reinstall the Tobii Game Hub if it is a DCS update issue since I don't know if Tobii will lose all of my game settings when reinstalling the Game Hub.

Anyone else having issues? I saw that Tobii included a new Opentrack beta in their software, and I know that installing the actual Opentrack software separately in the past would cause some games to automatically set things to TrackIR and break Tobii Eye Tracking. So I am wondering about that, except, when I ran into that problem in the past, it also made MSFS 2020 stop working.

Lots of variables going on here. Also, this isn't associated with the new DCS launcher. I had figured that out when it first appeared in the past.

FYI that I seem to have corrected this. I changed my steam launch options from Play MT Preview to Play DCS Steam Edition. I thought of this since I saw a mention that they were no longer going to have single vs multi thread versions on the recent update.

I also removed myself from the Open Beta. I don't know which one fixed it, but things are working now. The Beta was working fine in the past with Tobii but maybe the Beta isn't working with Tobii anymore.

Head to %localappdata%/TobiiGameHub/app-{version} and copy the HeadTracker.dll file to game install directory, that'll be SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/DCSWorld/bin (or bin-mt depending on if you play on multithread or not).

Thanks for sharing Spoon. I’ll try changing back to non MT and hope it doesn’t screw up what I tried to fix with MT. Tired of having to problem solve every time I get on one of the only two games I play.

There is no longer ST. You have to revert to 2.9.7 to be able to run ST.

Changing to steam mode fixed it. At least for today. Thanks for the tip.

Good deal. Yeah, I lost track of when they were actually deploying the production change to MT only, but I thought it had already been done. So I figured why have it set to Preview MT anymore.
