and HOTAS in over 30 years sim-flying, and the Warthog HOTAS is so beyond others (in the price point...others I have for my civilian sims are in the 1000s) Thats being said, I enjoyed the Logitech X55 and 56. (I believe logitech owns those now?)
Well, with 85£ he can just buy the box of the Warthog :-P
But if you do not want to wait T.16000 might be worth looking into. Also i recommend to get some headtracking or eyetracking ( might be able to give some feedback once my tobii 4c arrives [while i do patiently wait for my index]). Because when you can finally fly with a good stick you will come to see that being able to control the camera is as important as the stick/throttle. It will start at overhead landing patterns and continue in keeping visual contact of a bandit in dogfight..
Even with warthog i can not enjoy it completely until i am able to do that (tracking).
The T.Flight hotas X is a cheap setup but it will offer you everything you need to play the game decently. And it's in your budget. Use 2 modifier keys and you'll be fine with any module.
Next and probably best step would be the T16000M FCS HOTAS system which is around 150 bucks but absolutely worth the money. Anything above this setup is just pure purism and not needed!
So don't listen to those guys here talking about the Warthog! The stick itself won't help you playing DCS and besides that you'll probably never get one for 75 bucks anyways.
Yeah sure but read the OP as he has 75 bucks to invest. He'll not get a 500€ setup for that.

Great precision, many buttons, TARGET-software for superb button mapping.
Can fly the F/A:18-C Hornet without any problems with that one. You don't even need rudder pedals because the throttle has some finger pedals.
Can 100% recommend it.
I paid 124,99€ on Amazon.

Don't buy cheaper.
The T16000 has the optimal balance of price and performance.
@OP: Thake This NOW before price rise again.
