I prefer Steam because I got all my games here and it just works.
PS:
You can bring Steam-DLCs to Standalone but not the other way around.
If you bought something for Standalone and wan't to switch to Steam you can buy everything again.
Best of both worlds essentially.
i prefer stand alone as its updated fastest and doesnt have limitations in sales as Steam does
What war on Steam users?

I don't know if that makes it worth the switch, but it's a nice little bonus (got the Viggen for $8 cheaper when it was already on sale for $30).
Not really. If I purchase the JF-17 on Steam it's £60.00, now if I purchase on the ED website I would pay $79.99 which with the exchange rate works out at £63.94. So yes there is a reward scheme but depending on which country you live can effectively end up paying more from the EShop.
