how to download free trial??

I think you have to download the standalone beta version on their website (that's what the other thread said). I'm not sure though I'm trying right now.

Yeah I think your right because I read the ED discord and everyone always talk about the stadalone beta version

The free trial on Steam is just for the ED jets and WW2 stuff, not for helicopters or jets from third party devs :/

the only aircraft I see that has free trial is the JF-17... I kinda wanted to try the KA-50 and MI-8

ive downloaded off steam but every time it trys to launch game nothing happens,

ive verified cache and uninstalled and reinstalled game ,

but all it does is when i press to play game, it then says launching game then nothing ,

i just the press to play button appears , and this happens in about 2 secs lol , as for a link to download a seperate beta for this game , i cant find it. any help much

it starts at the 19 you download dcs for free then go to the store pick f18-f17 a10 ww2 a and etc and click play it will load them

but today its 19 and still not free to me

1. you have to use open beta - public version
2. u have to download modules separately from stores page open which module you want open it there is u can see play tab (there mention two weeks free trial) click it the module will download in steam game also open as well so close the game wait for fully downloaded then again open the game enjoy do it for every free modules .
