There is different account you use for the forums and DCS website.

Forum account is entirely separate from other things so they don't get compromised by mistake.

I know I shouldnt but my memory isnt what it used to be.

I go all retro and do pen and paper notebook entries with login details for game accounts and forums etc.

There is usually "forgot password" link somewhere on login page.
That should help reset password.

There is a forgot PW link.. It takes you to a page where you put your email address and asks you a random question about DCS or a module..

eg... What is the KA50's other name? I answer Black Shark and get told my answer is incorrect.
I answered 4 questions incorrectly even tho they were right.

Why cant I just put my e-mail address like every other site and get emailed a temp password?

I gave up and made a new forum account.. it was quicker and less hassle.

You only get one attempt at the answer, 5 wrong answers gets you locked out for 15 mins.

Easier to make a new account.

Still dont know why they cant just email you your password to the e-mail address you have registered.
