VR Controllers not working on DCS 2.9.6.57650

I'm using Oculus Quest 2 and it is happening both in regular and MT versions... actually with the new launcher I'm not even sure about which version I'm using at all...
Is this happening to you too?

And sadly, the BLACK CURSOR on VR headsets is still Black, another serious UI problem that isn't fixed yet...

Not quite VR but tobii eye tracker doesn't work at all for me. Updated everything

I kept testing, after removing the only mod I have, the A6E, now the controllers work on Regular version, but the hand is twisted 90º even if the cursor points where it should, but in MT the controller is still not working.
And most amazingly, in the last run of the MT version, now the cursor is GREEN AGAIN!!!!

I noticed that now, in the steam version (not the MT) the hands are shown but they are using the old black leather glove instead of the new hands!!!
It's like if they've gone back to a previous not-working implementation...

ST is planned to be removed. New features needs MT to work. For example the SC airboss station, new rotor blade effects, explosion shockwave effects, moving grass effects in downwind work only in the MT version.

Yes I was happily playing in MT with my UH1 and the update fragged my whole weekend expectations :(
I'm pretty sure someone make a mistake and included the "libraries" for the VR controllers implementation from two years in the past... that black glove is the one shown when I used the Quest 1 years ago!

I have this exact same behavior on the steam version. Kind of relieved to know it isn't just me

Yep Can Concur, I am also using Quest2. Controller not working the way it used too.

They"ll get to it when they can, I can understand a big update will have a few issues that need to be ironed out.

I have also discovered that my throttle binding for BF-109 and Spitfire shows red dot, so I'm assuming the is a conflict somewhere. Works fine for F18, F4E,also P47. I will check the rest later. Have a great night guys. Oh, my TrackIR worked fine but like I mentioned earlier, Quest 2 Controller is messed up a little in VR.

I have found a work around fix for this to get us playing again - the blessing and curse of being QA and never really giving up until I find a solution to things outside of the broken state.....

The work around for me:

Changing steam to only launch using the MT version in the launch options on steam + using Virtual Desktop on my Quest 2. Running it this way I have found that it does not launch on SteamVR and forces OpenXR as the launch option and I believe OpenXR is the real reason it is working.

There's a chance that I have software on my PC to push OpenXR as well but I rushed to tell you the work around as opposed to actually figuring out what that is so that with that what you will. Hope this helps :)

i find that don't bother with vr like they should do i find it so much better playing with vr i never play it without it

I found that after using automatic openxr setting in Virtual Desktop instead of steam vr setting the Quest 2 controller worked better but mirrors in aircraft did not,mmm, that's weird.

Went Flying just now with same settings as earlier and controller won't work, really weird it worked last night.LOL
