New Login Screen Doesnt work
Cannot login to account, buttons don't work, and then when you try to close DCS steam just says "Stopping". Completely unusable

Probably overloaded server due to people downloading update.

Why does it ask to login in a Steam account? It's never asked me to do it previously?

Into steam account? Not into ED account?

Mine didn't ask for login details for either. Did however stop my tobii eye tracker from working

Same problem here. Verified game files, deleted all my mods and updated drivers.

Anyone have a definite answer? I only have a steam account, but it is asking for a DCS account.

Login to ED account is needed to play multiplayer or if you use the stand-alone version to obtain modules.

Just click close, gave me the message about only being able to play with free modules but everything works fine. There's a setting on the new launcher to disable it and reverts back to the original login screen and bypasses the launcher.

In another post there was a solution for the login screen problem, you need to edit the file with something like Notepad ++ though and not Windows Notepad.

Well this sucks. I've been playing the standalone on 2 Linux distros with no problem for a couple of years now. All of a sudden it won't launch. Tried this version which has also always worked, and nothing.
