F-15E is not getting any updates for long time now

I am wondering what is happening? There has been ZERO additions and improvements to this module for months now...

There is some conflict between Razbam and ED. Razbam claims ED hasn't paid them for X months, and ED claims Razbam has broken their contract.

Or something. No one knows exactly what's going on, but Razbam stopped all work on their modules until it's resolved.

Would u say its still worth buying the 15E? Was gonna pick it up in the next sale but wont if its a bit ass

At this point, not really. If they resolve the dispute it will be a different story but as things are, no.

No it is very incomplete and nothing has been added to it since half year ago .

Still fun as a bomb truck. But I guess there's the risk that something breaks as the game keeps moving on.

Actually, the LGB's might still be broken? Haven't tested those recently. Been using the GBU-31's mostly.

Absolutely not. F18 or F16 can do 99% of what the SE can do in DCS as of now. It can carry more bombs but that's really it as of now. And F16 and 18 can do stuff the SE really isn't suited for(like SEAD/DEAD)

GPS bombs are much more advanced with F-15E than 16 and 18. Only for that reason I am happy that I got the module.

in pre planned mode you can set the coordinates for targets in mission editor before you start it, then in game you can upload all the coordinates you set for those bombs via "smart weapon" options in MFD menu you can give each GPS bomb each coordinate there and once you fly over the target just release the weapon once all GPS bombs you got (up to 11) will fly to 11 diffferent targets and BOOM.

Check Grimreaper video for F-15E GPS bombs, the mission editor has an extra option for this plane where you can pre GPS your bombs in it which other aircrafts don't.

First off. I am not really going to bother watching Grim Reapers videos since I just don't like their particular style of content creation or even their general behavior.

That said. You are correct that there is additional mission editor functionality but as far as how the JDAMs actually work when in-game, they are not any more advanced than the F/A-18 or even the Harrier (where equivalent planning systems exist for JDAMs). One could even make the point that due to some bugs and incomplete implementation (that RAZBAM has openly acknowledged and one of their SMEs has carefully laid out in detail), the JDAM setup in the F-15E module is pretty rough and there is significant room for improvement that we may not actually see due to the current dispute.

I recently bought it thinking I would request a refund on Steam @ 2 hours BUT I ended up keeping it instead.

It is a blast to fly! So much power even with full load and all that fuel it can carry. The flight model is much funner than the boring easy fly-by-wire F-16C and especially F/A-18 flight models. That alone has made it worth it.

There is enough working to make it fun in A/G and A/A. Plus the graphic model is beautiful, much better looking than the ugly textured F-16C. Air to air refueling is more challenging than other aircraft I have flown too.

There are bugs but nothing too serious. It is also a little weird to learn because it depends on a lot of different HOTAS button sequences.

I am really enjoying it. I just hope no matter what happens that at least ED will keep it from being broken with their patches like what happened to the Hawk.

F-16C is the only jet I truly never liked even I tried. If you learn F-14 and F-15E and F/A-18C and even A-10C they are all similar. You don't need to relearn an entire thing to be able to operate those even from cold start, but F-16C is just a different planet and very confusing, the way the MPDs work in F-16C is just annoying to me, when you select a weapon the display shows the "Next weapon" instead of the selected one unlike other jets. All MPDs functions are just totally different than other jets and I really don't get the reason behind it.

Nope. I would still hold off on buying any RAZBAM product until there is an official announcement of some kind that indicates further development.
