AV-8B DLC no longer authorised??
AV-8B DLC gave an error message on starting the game with a weird activation message.
It's been in my account for a while, still showing on the store page as owned by me. .
Any ideas??

It's not unusual to see that happen from time to time.

You didn't transfer the license to the standalone version did you? Can only be assigned to either that or Steam at once, not both.

Make sure your Windows firewall isn't blocking traffic to the authentication servers.

Reboot and log back in (again checking you don't get popups for the above).

I've only ever used DCS through steam.
I've shut down and re-started with no joy.
Verifying the game files did throw up an error but i get a disc write error when trying to re-download that file. Scans show SSD as fine.
I'm gonna try a re-install and see where that gets me. I'll stick it on another drive.
Just a bit weird it was one aircraft only.

Maybe try temporarily disabling your AV and then re-verifying the files. There's been a spate of issues lately with files being quarantined due to false positives.

Thanks, will give it a go once i've re-downloaded the files.

* edit.
This turned out to be Avast AV with a false positive.

Good News, happy flying!
They removed Mirage-2000, AV-8B and F-15E from Steam shop. So probably you guys wasted a lot of money as these modules may have been disabled in the game.

The modules are not disabled in-game.

This is incorrect information.
The modules if purchased still work in DCS.

They were removed from sale on the developers recent request.

thank you
