You didn't transfer the license to the standalone version did you? Can only be assigned to either that or Steam at once, not both.
Make sure your Windows firewall isn't blocking traffic to the authentication servers.
Reboot and log back in (again checking you don't get popups for the above).
I've shut down and re-started with no joy.
Verifying the game files did throw up an error but i get a disc write error when trying to re-download that file. Scans show SSD as fine.
I'm gonna try a re-install and see where that gets me. I'll stick it on another drive.
Just a bit weird it was one aircraft only.

This turned out to be Avast AV with a false positive.

The modules are not disabled in-game.
This is incorrect information.
The modules if purchased still work in DCS.
They were removed from sale on the developers recent request.
