HB F4-E first week discount is 20% instead off the promissed 25%.
Discount should be 25% off on this first week, link to Heatblur post bellow.

Would be nice if this could be fixed.

Sadly the steam price mistake can not be changed, please read here where Cobra from Heatblur explains.

Steam Pricing Mistake
Dear Steam hoggiteers,

Sincerest apologies for making a pricing mistake and setting DCS: F-4 launch week price to -20% instead of -25%.

This was done in the rush and runup to release and I managed to send through the wrong price to our partners.

Unfortunately we cannot change this campaign retroactively on Steam and thus the price must for now remain the same.

We will try to do something special for exclusively Steam users as soon as possible.

Apologies, we did not intend to leave Steam users on uneven ground vs standalone, and we hope we've not soured your first contact with the F-4 too much.

Sincerely, Heatblur Simulations

I have the same problem as my friend. Why do I have to pay more than in Standalone

Well, it's not that you have to pay more than in Standalone. You have to pay more than here in USD on Steam as well.

The problem is that the general exchange rates on Steam are not updated regularly by Valve. It's possible for Publisher to set custom exchange rate however. That's what I don't understand. When I was buying Kola map earlier this month, the exchange rate was fair. So it had to be set by ED. It's surprising to see that in case of F4-E it's not. Maybe that is some mistake by ED? I hope it gets clarified until the promo offer expires.

At least for my currency the problem is just the discount, if they set it to 25% as promissed the value will be right.
It’s so ridiculous. No matter the release date or price, none of them match the official announcement.

In your local currency, how much more would you save for 5%?

Preorder is over on standalone. And Steam have 1 week discount because it didnt have a pre-order period on steam.

It would appear there is no Early Access discount for the F-4.

25% off instead of 30% for pre-order, and 0% off instead of 20% for Early Access. Heatblur is ignoring the established price discounts that ED set, which is apparently not required by 3rd parties.

Any news on exchange rates adjustment for regional prices?

How long does it take steam to change discount as bignewy said waiting on steam?Maybe two weeks when they remove 20% and say sorry

To be fair, if it's the same quality as the Tomcat, it's worth every penny they charge for it. The main choice is whether you remain with the Steam install with the benefits that offers or go to ED's site get the advantages that offers in terms of longer sales and points but maybe hassles when downloading update vs Steam ( from what i've heard )
It's definitely worth the price, but this attitude is incredibly annoying.
Whether it is ED or a third party, it is almost impossible to give accurate promises now, and even if they are given, their words and deeds are often inconsistent.

Fair enough, I can see your point.
