Hi, i am new to dcs and i was wondering if i could install mods on dcs free steam edition.
If yes how to do it?

Same way like in the non-steam version. Put all mods in directory: "%userprofile%\saved games\dcs\mods\"

just be aware some mods *need* purchased content to run. check the readme's
