Game crashing when loading into a multiplayer server.
When i try to get into a dog-fighting sever the game crashes. i recently tried installing the super bug mod for dcs but it never popped up. but my f/a-18 hornet stayed the same. does this have something to do with the problem? and how do i know if dcs "failed integrity check"?

Edit: seems like it only crashes at "net sim post start". what does this mean?

I would agree if you had said 3 days. 3 hours is not that much time.

It might be helpful if you post your logs here, so we might be able to see what DCS is telling you about what is happening behind the splash screen. You should be able to find your logs in the Saved Games folder of your windows user profile directory. (usually C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games)

The integrity check is a check to see if any of the game files have been altered. It is a basic form of anti-cheat. This can happen if you install a community mod like the A-4 Skyhawk.

but like how do i give the logs exactly? i cant just copy and paste the whole file of the log here.

Perhaps use pastebin? You can also just paste them in a quote, if you don't want to use pastebin.

I've been having random crashes to desktop too. No explanation. I stress tested my hardware. Stress tested my RAM and CPU with TestMem5 and OCCT Extreme. Also tested my 4090 and VRAM and scoured my event logs. All came back good.

This latest beta patch seems unstable. Been trying to resolve these crashes since the latest patch dropped.

There is no dcs.log in the root of the Logs directory? I will have to look into which files are important. I think that the plain text document (the one without an extension), the crash file and the .dmp file could contain clues.

also windows says i need a app to open the .crash and .dmp file. what do i do?
