VKB gladiator NXT vs Winwing orion2 16 EX

I really like what VKB was done in NXT even it is full plastic gimbal. The dampered feel is really nice. But there is noticeable center detent.
Does have the default spring and cam centering mechanisms in winwing orion 2 base no center detent? And it is any big advantage do not have center detent on the joystick?
Or i ask beter. Does it make much sense upgrade from VKB gladiator NXT to Winwing orion 2 16EX?
Actually, I didn't plan to replace the joystick, rather I'm looking for a new throttle stick. The VKB STECS is still sold out so I looked for other options and the Winwing Orion2 HOTAS MAX is now only 407 Euro including tax and shipping which is quite tempting.

I have the Gladiator NXT and Orion2 F15E throttle. Great combo, and the Winwing stuff is a LOT cheaper (like half) what Virpil costs. The Orion2 throttle cost me $331 CAD, all-in, shipped to my door in less than a week. Even the STECS would have cost me at least $150 more with shipping and fees.

I thought the 15% discount ended today but it ended yesterday so I missed it. The next discount probably won't come anytime soon, but I'll keep an eye on it and buy right away next time.

Do you mean for Winwing? Yes, the discount ends at weird times because it's China time. It's actually only a 5% discount ($349 regular vs $331). I think they are using the always-on discount in that supposed 15%.
