controls settings... where f.... are gone?!?

I spent days and hours to assign buttons and commands to keyboard and joystick.... just updated and I have no more assignament... no one....
I rest to default... nothing.... no assignament at all.... I must reassign all one by one??????

Yes, there is. All configs are saved in directory: "%userprofile%\saved games\DCS\config\input\"

Most probably the controller's ID have been changed. Backup your old profiles from directory mentioned above. In the game - controls options menu click on "load profile" and use your "*.diff.lua" files to recovery your input commands.

There is also option "save profile as" - This will save your inputs. Literally the same files, just in the name is missing the controller's ID.

To understand: There are no default config files. Those are saved in the game instalation folder. In the user files are saved only custom data. To make them as small as possible the custom config files contains differences betweeen default and user settings.

By the way, the custom files which are located in the directory mentioned above ( %userprofile%\saved games\dcs) are never deleted by game nor by any update. Even when you uninstall the game, this file and its content is not deleted.
