Ground combat is extremely basic. No proper armor simulation. Just basic move this vehicle around in 3rd person mode. The ground AI is also insane in its accuracy so you'll most likely be blown up before even seeing the enemy.
He didn't even look at the dlc list to see that there's no tanks. Sometimes you gotta let people stumble, if you try to help they'll bring you down with them.
Yep, however, DCSW is about Air combat and all but one Modules DLCs are about planes, not tanks.
You can drive tanks with Combined Arms, but that module is quite limited.
If you are interested in tank combat you should move to a different title, or take a walk on the wild side try flying with one of the free modules and see if you can like air combat
