DCS World Steam Edition

DCS World Steam Edition

Can I use my DCS account on another steam account and use DLC?
I have 2 computers at home, with different steam accounts. Both have DCS World installed. My less 'specy' computer has a steam account with lots of DLC, and my 'better Spec' computer only has the DCS world Base game with no DLC.

Ive also noticed (obviously) that there is a DCS login in-game.

So... I tried to copy all DLC onto the better computer and loaded it up and entered my DCS world account details (that contained my DLC), aaand it didnt work.

I also copied over the appmanifest so the two computers were identical (file wise.. that is).

Is there any way to do this (besides logging into my DLC steam account on the better computer)?

I'm presuming that the DCS account is somehow paired with my Steam account. which is fine I would just rather use a better computer for this game with out having to constantly changing accounts.

BTW I usually use family share to get around this issue, but this game doesnt support it.

What you could do, is download the standalone ( directly from ED )
From there you use the procedure detailed in the pinned message of this forum for connecting your Steam DLC authorizations to you ED account.

You will be able to play on to you good pc and still keep your Steam on you old pc with all the dlc and what not.

Hi

As far as I am aware you will need to login to the steam account your DCS is activated with.

thank you
