About F/A-18C (F-18 don't exist) - you can make and save your own snap views.
So yes, is very good choice.
Bought the F18 and winwing f18 super libra and super tarus hotas for it.
Never used it after trying it for a few months.
Love my viper, hate the hornet.
Granted now it stays in the box because I made a move to VR.
WVR? That seems difficult against many aircraft nevermind an F-22.
That's because there is no F-22 in DCS. Sure there may be a mod for one but it's stats and performance and such are completely made up. For that reason you could probably shoot it down with a WW2 plane in DCS.
I use head tracking, it certainly gives a nice feeling and all but can be annoying as well, so I turn it on-and off depending on the flight situation).
For rotaries (helis), there head tracking is a real different world for flying though...
