Multiplayer question
Good day
just installed this game on steam
what I want to know is if I can play with and against players that are not using steam version of this game?

Steam and standalone are 99% same, you can play with both clients.
you only need register a dcs web site account.

They are the same, if you plan on playing online you should choose the open beta branch on steam. As most servers use open beta.

Stable is fine. There is no lack of servers and/or players.
If you really want to be a beta tester and use the open beta branch, you will find a significant ammount of servers there - i recommend starting stable tho.
