Syria or Persian Gulf for Harrier?

Planning on buying the Harrier next sale, naturally I was looking through user missions/campaigns and multiplayer servers to see where I can get the most content.

To me it looks like Persian Gulf has quite a bit more user created content for the Harrier, but I'd love to get your input on this. Especially since Syria seems to be much more varied and detailed. Don't know which to get. I only want to spend money on one map and the Harrier for this sale.

I would say syria is the prettier map much more varied it quickly became my favourite

Persian gulf if you like ready made singleplayer content or want to make stuff related to US navy/marines vs Iran.
Syria map if you love flying low and seeing the very nice terrain, but also like making missions yourself.

If you go by the looks, then Syira, It has more of different terrain types , where Persian Gulf is not the whole gulf and it has more desert areas.
However Persian gulf is looks more suitable for harrier carrier ops.
Both are good maps.

I had the same question, and ended up with Syria. Just seems like a much more interesting an varied map. And if you just buy one map, thats a pretty important consideration imo.

More things to do on the Persian Gulf in terms of SP content. Disregarding that, Syria is the better map.

I fly more on PG than Syria because of the SP content.
