The F-22 is a user mod based on the best available info, guesswork, and a bit of imagination. So there really isn’t a counter as none of the available modules deal with that generation of fighters.
Think of the official modules as simulating those aircraft as accurately as possible and mods as ranging from accurate to imaginative. The more modern the aircraft, the less accurate they tend to be honestly in terms of mods. The vast majority of DCS aircraft are Cold War era and that’s honestly far more exciting online.
Yes and this is why I love the F-22 :)
Find another server as it’s honestly not worth trying to deal with a questionable mod implementation when there are far better experiences out there.
Most AA missiles are designed to explode near the target, rather than hit it.
Regardless, fighting against the F-22 mod with stock modules in PvP doesn't sound like a good time to me. As others have said, just find a different server.
It might be a wise idea to wait on the whole PvP public server thing and give yourself all the time you need to get controls squared away and get comfortable with whatever your preferred aircraft is. Trying to stay alive on a public PvP server while you are still learning is a recipe for needless frustration.
