How to get clickable cockpit controls?
I only have access to the SU25-T, but am trying to click items on the cockpit (after pressing left-alt + C to get clickable mouse icon), but no matter what I try to toggle in the cockpick using the mouse, nothing changes.

I just recently re-installed DCS after about a year of not using it. Did something change?

I'm trying to avoid using keyboard shortcuts and instead learn what the actual controls in the cockpit do.

Su-25T does not have clickable cockpit.

The SU-25T does not offer a clickable cockpit as do any of the Flaming Cliffs aircraft. Everything else however does offer a clickable cockpit aside from Combined Arms.

I always get ninja'd these days.

The Su-25 dont have clickable pit, in the free DCS only TF-51D Mustang has it. Also, all planes from Flaming Cliff pack also dont have interactive pits.
-damn I was too late- ninja'd :D

Dang, you guys are quick! Thanks for the replies.

I could have sworn I had a clickable cockpit the last time I played (but it was a long while ago). It must have been a different aircraft.

Looks like I'll have to pick out a plane to buy with a clickable cockpit. :) Any suggestions for a beginner other than the SU25-T?

Depends on what you what, as far as helicopters and in general I would say the KA-50(It may have more complex systems than the huey, but imo it is easier to fly due to all of the stability assistance it provides. Plus it is more useful all around).

For fixed wing my choice would be the A-10c as in my view if you start from the hardest then everything else is a cakewalk(Though the Mig-21 and other trainer aircraft like the L-39 would be the easiest step into modern fixed wing, the porblem is the L-39 isn't too terribly useful in combat imo).

Thanks. I'm a big fan of helicopters, but wasn't sure how useful they'd be in the multiplayer missions. The Mig-21 is enticing though.

I'm also a big fan of the A-10, but seems like a more common aircraft. That said, I prefer air to ground combat, so maybe the A-10 and/or KA-50 would be more to my liking.

So many choices!

If you like air-to-ground and want a uncommon aircraft, wait for the Leatherneck Saab AJS37 Viggen. Also, if you like helos the Gazelle is pretty fun with it's TOW missiles.

If your looking for a truly beginner aircraft the MiG is not for you. If your looking for a hard as hell aircraft to fly that complains at every turn and is basically a temperamental rocket with wings... Then the MiG is for you.

Has it been officially announced even? If not then the F-14A/B with LANTIRN would be a great jet for multi role.

I don't see the F-14 DLC on steam, is that from the main website only? And do those work with the steam version?

It's not ready for purchase, it's still in development, you can't buy it yet.
