Of course you can start digging through the manuals while waiting for joystick to arrive..
I managed to change my yoke controls to mouse via ppjoy today, however.
Best regards,
Brett

problem solved we don't have to interact the next time its asked, almost all of us basically consider it blasphemous to use a mouse as its not an arcade game. like driving to work using wii-mote. I don't have anything against analog controler + keyboard for avionics however.
should have been more clear that DCS by default does not support such an arrangement not that it is utterly impossible to do. Have to ask though how do you click switches now?
I'd like to add that driver signature test has to be disabled to install ppjoy under Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 by typing "bcdedit -set testsigning ON" in the cmd.exe (administrator mode) and then restarting your PC.
The latest 64 bit version of ppjoy can be downloaded here: https://sethioz.com/download.php?view.229
DCS World may be tricky to setup with ppjoy inputs, make sure to try multiple times (only worked the 2nd time for me with axis controls) and delete the mouse-view mappings.
Best regards,
Brett
It shoud be possible to look around by mapping shift + ppjoy mouse axis to viewing around.
About cockpit switches, I found no solution yet, they are, however, accesible via keyboard shortcuts (not very immersive, I have to admit).
Best regards,
Brett
I'm sure this will become handy next time someone asks about using mouse.
