Enable mouse based head track?
Hey, I just got DCS and started with the F-18 package from the get-go, i have a joystick set up already but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my pilots head to track with the mouse cursor like I see in all of there videos. I don't want to use the numpad to look around and then move the mouse independantly to press the buttons. Instead I want the view to track the cursor, thank you.

If you hit L Alt + C your mouse will control your head view
Once you have panned your view to position you are happy with and want to use the mouse to interact with the cockpit, hit L Alt + C again.

That is much better, thank you!
Now, is there any way to make it so I don’t have to press left alt C again to click? For example I’ve seen many YouTube videos where the head naturally follows the mouse cursor and it’s always visible and clickable. Like here for example https://youtu.be/SaMBmQxzzPQ (skip to 2:40)
Thank you again so much, what you told me is sooo much better already

Wags is prbly using TrackIR or another headtracking software.

any videos you see will most likely be TrackIR. you can set a hotkey to toggle between mouse look and clickable cockpits in the options though.
