It is just not the solution I want.
I was also considering to move the .exe file of the title out of the way and replace with my own but that would conflict with updates.
I want to launch from inside Steam client, otherwise I would not have posted my feature request here.
DCS is not the only title that I would want to have startup scripts for.
Better to solve a problem in one place than to solve it for every occurence.
But hey, it is just a humble wish for a feature that probably will never be included.
I know. But after I first felt how warm the TIR was running I don't want it running constantly.
I have since turned down the IR-leds and it runs much cooler now and creates less interference.
But just knowin how hot that device can get with improper config makes me want to keep it from running at all times. Never know when an update mucks around with settings.
I don't think so either.
I just put an idea out there that would be cool if they would implement.
But from what I've seen in this thread so far that idea does not have much support in the community. Guess I am the only one who would like such a feature :-D
