how do you re-centre cockpit view?

I am not in the cockpit properly but about 4ft above it so my head position is half out the top of the canopy! I have tried numpad 5 key but this doesn't recentre me. I have tried the oculus remote and nor does this (unlike when playing eve Valkyrie). How do I get myself sitting in my seat? This is the last piece of my jigsaw - once this is sorted I can trial and error all the rest of my steep dcs learning curve. :-)

In the key commands when I looked at it, it was R-CTRL + Num Pad 5 and it works for me. Of course it might better to remap it to something easier to manage in VR. Although I've found that once you've done it the first time then it keeps its position very well even after changing aircraft.

Edit: or was it R-Alt and Number Pad 5, anyway one of those two.

default in Trackir is f12 button unless you changed it.
I just got trackir and in the process oftrying to get things set up with it like my joy stick etc.

I could be wrong here but there are 2 center views, one that recenters the calibration of the trackIR and one that actually centers the view in game (numpad 5)

is this correct?

Same problem.Im in cv1 rift and im 4 ft above cockpit.. Normal keypad controls dont move the view anywhere....

For anyone trying to re-center the VR view in cockpit, here's what I found:

Goto "Change Controls" > Choose "UI Layer" from top-left dropdown > "recenter VR headset" mappable action is near bottom of list...
