Skin Mods -> How do I install them?

The official page only tells me info about the files but not where to put em and I found some cool skins I'd like to use in my single player missions, like the iconic Ace Combat skin for the F15C.

Any-1 knowing where to paste the files and make sure the game uses the exact skin I want to have? There are a LOT of folders in the mod folder (one of them named skins but I am not sure enough to just paste em there).

Depends.
One choice is something like: ..\DCSWorld\CoreMods\aircraft\<_name_>\Liveries\<_skin_>
Other is: ..\DCSWorld\Bazar\Liveries\<_name_>\<_skin_>

Note that aircraft name needs to be correct to be found.
So a full path maybe like:
T:\DCSWorld\Bazar\Liveries\F-86F Sabre\RAF 93 Sqn\

There should be a lua and dds file in the skin folder usually.

Snooped around and found them to be in the Bazar folder, just needed to enable them via editing the missions in the mission editor. Thanks for the help, now I can finally customize my experience a bit :)

Hello, Trying to add RCAF CF-18 Skins found in the DCS downloads. I have managed to get the m to work under the USA unit "paint scheme" but i would like to see them work under the CAN unit "paint scheme" would someone be able to help me sort that out?

Depends on how the skin was created.
There should be lua script-file in the package, usually at end you have line like this in it:

countries = {"USA", "UK", "Australia",}

CAN or Canada could be added there.

Seems no matter what is entered in that field the "paint scheme" will not open to scroll for the skin. it will however, no matter what you put the skin does appear in the US "paint scheme" list.
At least i get to see the skins. I was just hoping to see it work under the Canada Tab.

where to find dcs world folder if i got it from the website

No difference between standalone and Steam version. Livery locatation is the same:

..\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\<aircraft>

You need to use an editor to open the lua file. Use Notepad ++, it is free. Like kazreal said, the line at the bottom of the file is where you would type "CAN" making sure you don't forget comma's etc. If you want, you can simply type over "USA" and make it CAN. Your CF-18 will be available under canadian colors then.
