The A10C and A10C tank killer are equally realistic. The tank killer version just has newer weaponry.
The one to stay away from is the A10A. It's more basic and doesn't have the clickable cockpit.
Uh... No thanks Jul 24, 2022 @ 10:00am
I only see one a10c

A10-C2 is most realistic and sounds like definitely what you want. A-10A has very little interaction with actual avionics and equipment.

There is only one a-10C 2 now. It used to be A-10c then they upgraded it and sold upgrade to make A-10c the a10-c2. If you Buy it now it just comes as the A-10c 2

Yes, the real A-10C does not have the twist yaw. The real A-10C uses rudder pedals for yaw control.

I gotcha! will i be missing much without YAW? or should i try and bind it to one of the stick like things on the throttle / joy?

you are going to need something, because the pedals control nose wheel steering when taxiing on the ground, its also used for small adjustments in the air.

When I got the A-10C II Tank Killer from the standalone install website I got the A10C free with it.
The Tank Killer is much better and you wont want to ever use the older one.

Ah, that. Well, yes, airplanes have rudder pedals. If you want to buy the Warthog HOTAS then think about pedals as well because there's really not much on the HOTAS itself that you can comfortably use as rudder... I'd know, I'm using one.

Ok thank you! Do you have any recommendations as to a good set of rudder pedals? I know thrustmaster have the really expensive set, id there a cheaper alternative?
