when you install dcs world does all the dlc download ingame or through steam?
soo install size is about 120 gig, does it download additional dlc once ingame or is that the total size ?

How big is DCS install?
Steam recons about 80GB needed for a fresh install, that excludes assets downloaded at a later point. 205GB with almost all the modules and terrains.
The Steam version modules do install through steam.

my download is about 120 gig and counting
says its about 130ish gig total

only have 2 modules f14 and marrianne

All the DLC you have checked in your Steam Library will get installed through Steam. As soon as you buy new content it will automatically download it through Steam too.

base game is around 80-90 GB. If you have Mariannas and F14, your 120GB is kind of expected normal.

My install is 271gb and I dont have anywhere near all modules. Got all terrain except Nevada and my modules are FC3,f14,f16,f18,bf109,p-47, and p51d.
Wonder why such a difference?

EDIt: I do have the WWII assests and maps

My install is noe 270gig. That's with a craptone of modules. But I've unchecked many maps.
Right noe. I only have caucasus, Syria, Normandy and Channel installed.
Syria map alone takes about 70gig.
If I had all maps installed it would be about 350gig.
