How to lock on.

I know I sound like an idiot, but I cannot figure out this apparently simple act of locking a target, for my radar seeking missiles. I watched the video (for the F16 which is our current learning plane), but he just says "press the TMS switch on the stick." WHAT TMS switch. I have 4 Target Management Switches that just go left right up down and WTF? Someone please tell me the IN GAME name for that switch, button or wehatever?

All you need to know is written in the manual or the Chuck's guide.

The TMS is by default a 4-way switch located on the topside of the stick. The stick usually referred to is the Thrustmaster Warthog, as the F16 uses the same stick as the A10.

You may map whatever switch you like on YOUR stick for TMS up, down, left, right.
All you have to do is press YOUR TMS switch up.

Open DCS:F-16C manual. You can find it in "game instalation folder\mods\aircraft\F-16C\Doc\" or simply in F-16C steam store page click on manual button. Open page 50. It is captcher called "HANDS-ON CONTROLS (HOTAS)" There are described all buttons on stick. ;)
