Mosquito unresponsive to throttle/stick
I'm not new to DCS but I'm finding the Mosquito module can't stay aloft more than 30 seconds regardless of thrust or stick position. Never had this issue with other modules. Any suggestions?

Could you describe your problem in more detail?

Any mission beginning "in air" begin fine but the aircraft slowly descends regardless of throttle position and/or joystick. Trimming up or down doesn't rectify the situation and within 30 seconds or so, I'm in the ground. Can't describe it better than that.

I mean, are your controls bound properly? I know that sounds silly but it seems like that is the issue.

Yeah, that's the first thing I thought. I checked the axis commands and no double bindings. My curves and deadzones are the same as the other modules (jets and props). I don't get it.

You have both throttles and RPMs bound? Not just one?

Ok, I'm going to look dumb on that. I only have a single throttle (both propellers respond) CH Products. I haven't bound anything with the RPM you mentioned. I've used it with Mustang which is single, I know, BUT didn't do anything with prop or RPM's and never had a problem. An additional issue, which I was hesitant to mention was that it also rolls strongly left, which I felt was due to the prop rotation, but maybe there's a connection. dunno.

Okay, so you have never interacted with prop/RPM controls at all in any of the WWII modules?

I just bought the mosquito and i'm having the same problem. For some reason the thing just doesn't pickup speed on takeoff and i end up hitting the end of the runway around 100-120 knots. I've attempted probably 10 takeoffs that ended like this. I also tried the formation flight but I just slowly drift to the ground with max throttle and rpm.

Strange, might be a bug?
I'm gonna try the mossie again on Monday (to test out the new rockets) and I'll see if I get the same thing.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

YYYYUP! That did it! Thanks VERY MUCH! Kinda weird that the biggest issue should happen in the easy mode. Wonder if they'll patch that since I tend to go with the game flight model (just realized) in all the other mods.

They tend not to put a lot of priority on the game mode in general. This is especially the case for modules that are still in early access.

Can you describe what you're doing or upload a short track file?
