Question about syria map
Hello everyone, with liberation i have a small mission with 500 units on the map and I have fps problems when i see bad guys (about 10 at the same time, something like 40 miles away from me) it freezes when I shoot....On the Dubai map i can have way more units on the map , i didn't expect my PC could handle more than 1000 units without problems so i don't know why there are fps drops on Syria.
So here is my question...is it my PC ? so should I put more ram in it ?
Or is it a map ? I heard there are still optimisation problems.
I have 16 GB ram, an RTX 2060 super and a I5 by the way
Have a nice day ;)

Syria is in Early Access and uses a lot of RAM.

Make sure to
• use LOW terrain textures
• set preload radius = approx 60,000m (rather than max)
• set your windows page file to min/max=16GB or perhaps 32GB.
More RAM *may* help but not too much i.e. Syria HIGH textures will load into +50GB RAM

It's been suggested more than 8GB GFX VRAM helps but IMHO, you'll be better off waiting for the map to be optimised.

32gig ram will give you a huge quality of life improvement, but most people struggle with Syria.
Its very pretty but runs terribly

Ok thanks 😉... I think i will only use Syria map for training missions for now.
