DELANCLiP Fusion - Complete Kit (Wireless)
Eight years ago I had the Trackr 5 and need another one. Looked all over and all out of stock. Thinking of getting the Delanclip wireless complete kit or go with the Delanclip complete wired kit. Anyone using this setup for head tracking?

I missed that link, is this for Canada? Think I'll try out Delanclip. The price is what I like compared to TrackIr. Was hoping someone is using it and get a review on it.

TrackIR 5 available now in Amazon USA. While it's now out of stock, they are taking orders and will be dispatching in a few days.

Thanks for the heads up Jalsina! I'm going for Delanclip. For 47 Euros, complete kit. And the TrackIr 5 software works with Delanclip.

The Trackir has cost me $171 with free shipping.
I think it's cheaper in Natural Point. They have now a discount buying the bundle with the Track Clip pro, but the difference is not too big (because of high shipping costs) and Amazon is more reliable for me.
Amazon has a third party track clip S18 for $30. That, plus a PS3 camera ($20-$30) would do the job of the Delanclip.
I have no experience with the TrackIR, but I believe it works better than any device under Opentrack.

It sure is a doggy dog world out there right now. Today getting ready to order the last parts I need for my new computer. Cough, Nuway Traders offering free shipping for what I need and then jacking up the cost for shipping and that's for each part, for example for a new internal hard driver 175 Canadian for shipping. I almost lost it. Cancelled my order and went to Best Buy. Just unbelievable it is to get computer parts right now. Going cheap with the head tracker.

Interesting alternative, that site is definitely worth a visit.
Only downside so far is that you do need that clip on a headset and have at least one cable hanging somewhere on your side.
I´m using TrackIR because i dont always want to wear a headset and i don´t like cables :)

Check the site again, Jel. You can go for the wireless setup for 77 Euros.

Ah i see, they even got a battery powered thing. From my experience those parts tend to run out of battery when you need them, i´d rather stick with a "real" wireless solution :)

I own a Delan clip (complete wired). I do not use it any more due to preferring VR, but the clip is spot on! Never had any issues whatsoever. Took a while to tweak and get it how I wanted it, but I'm guessing TrackIR is just the same in that respoect.

Thank you for the review, HoboCop! I'm almost setup for VR but, really want a head tracker as well and good that one doesn't have to go with the most expensive one out there.

You won't be disappointed! I might even dig mine out again for summer. Can be a little hot at times for VR :enteringsteamvr:
