CCRP / CCIP Modes
Hi All,

Just learning and going through the trainings and there must be something I am missing. Flying the SU-25T how do you switch between CCRP and CCIP modes? Or is it simply a matter of pressing versus holding the weapon trigger?

Thanks!

Not 100% sure but on Su-27/Su-33/Mig-29 by default bombing mode is CCRP.
CCIP is engaged automatically if you dive over target at a certain distance/angle.
Maybe on Su-25 might be the same...

Hmm might be, I'll give that a try as I really can't find anything on this yet. Thank you for the reply, mate!

If anyone has any definite info on this, I'd really appreciate it!

The answer is on page 25-26 of the manual. When you select the air to ground mode (default 7), you are in CCIP. When you dive, you will get the bomb fall line and the pipper, which you should align over the target. Once you get the "LA" (launch authorized), you squeeze the trigger and release the ordnance.
To use CCRP, first, align the pipper over the target, then squeeze and hold the trigger. Then fly level toward the target. The computer will do the rest and release the bomb at the appropriate time.

Ok thank you for this, really appreciate it! I need to take the time and start going through the manuals along with the practice and training.

My pleasure. I also tend to mix up training, reading and watching tutorials.
