so i downloaded a couple of mods for DCS such as the F-35 mod and the PAK mod but dont know how to install them. can someone please tell me how??? and also the last time i posted here someone deleted it so pelase dont do this again.

Use JSGME mod enabler for 1.5 or OvGME mod enabler for 2.5
Also there shoul'd be description how to install mod at every downloaded file.

Question: does this game still allow users to fly user created aircraft. Can I still build my own and fly them in this game like older versions of DCS. Thanks

the mods you can find are all made by "users".

they don't have special access to DCS file.

so, yes it is possible to fly its own aircraft, if you know how to make it.


you won't be able to use it on most MP server thought.

One more question -> is the DCS Mods structure : How to create your plugin from scratch on forums.eagle.ru from user Alex O'kean fronm 2012 still valid on adding aircraft/mods on the new dcs? if its to old , do have link to the new info. cool thanks for the info do you know , are all the aircraft dlc VR ready, can you interact with cockpit , toggle switches, knobs etc, I have a VR Rift and I am hoping to buy some aircraft but they have to be VR ready or its's not worth it for me, since there allot of $$$.

you have two free aircraft with the free map Caucasus, the su-25T a FC3 level module ( simplified system ), and the TF-51D, an all clickable module ( complex systems ).

you can't interact with simplified system aircraft ( you can t click on switches...) but it is still a 6 DOF cockpit.

you can interact with all clickable aircraft, the VR thing to click on things doesn t fully work yet, it is still WIP ( you can only "left click" while you need to be able to "right click" too in order to fully interact with the module ). you can still use the mouse ( as most DCS users ), and the cockpit is 6 DOF too.

both planes are free, so you can try them.

most DLC are all clickable as the TF-51D ( only FC3 planes aren't : su-27/33, mig-29A/G/S, F-15, Su-25A, A-10A )

you could have searched it by yourself in less time it takes me to write this sentence...
enter the mission editor, select each country and looks at the listed planes ( the yellow one are flyable ).

i guess F-35 is for US ( and allies ) and PAK(FA ? ) for Russia ?

Update relooking at the file I see I missed the info you needed. FyI: Looking at the F-35.lua entry its the F15 aircraft you need to have.
