F18 Hotas/throttle problems
I can sure use some help. Bought Hotas Warthog, then bought the F18 Module. The throttles changes the planes direction in yaw, and it will not recognize the right throttle. , I also cant get into afterburner. Ive tried re-mapping and nothing helps. I sure can use some Help. I appreciate in advance any help you all can give me.

Have you tried to check the controls of the axis for your plane? Sometimes the game binds yaw pitch rudder thrust etc. for all the controllers with axis automatically. In this case you have to clear these binds manually (the roll, yaw, pitch, rudder from the throttle) .

Thanks Sharky. the left throttle works both engines and the rudder pedals. Ill give the axis now.

If you check your axis commands you will see that pitch, roll and yaw are doubled up..... You need to clear the axis you don't need for function. eg: Pitch and roll is for the Warthog joystick so delete the commands in the warthog throttle section

Under AXIS Commands, I have deleted the inputs, and still the left throttle activates the Rudder petals. Thanks for your help sir. any more suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

Double check again, sounds like there is still conflicting axis settings.

There are 2 profiles. one says F18sim and the other is f18game. I fixed the conflict by straightening out the game file, but i cant fight with the game file, i need to get the sim one working. it defaults to f18game.

You have to assign all axis manually and properly. For afterburner you will need to assign button to afterburner detent button. F-18 game is for game(arcade) mode which is set in gameplay options.
