- There are several tutorials on Youtube as well, but many are outdated.
Hornet's TPOD got updated recently, functionality has changed a bit, so I'm afraid you'll have to watch different tutorials (old and new) in order to get a complete picture of how it works.

Like you, I have very recently sunk my teeth into the FA18 after this community recommended it as been a good starter plane. I have done the DCS tutorials, and now going to make my way polishing them skills before I even look at GBU deployment.
I have been watching Grim Reaper videos on YT, while great, the guy in some of them does talk / fly through the controls a little too fast so I will give the above a whirl as well.
Finally, as a newbie, if you need someone to crash, I mean fly with, add me - I have a mic.
