UH-1H Multicrew help

Hey guys,

I'm totally new to DCS but i've spend a lot of time on xplane or mfs.

I would like to play in helicopter with a friend and do missions so, i've some questions :

- The 2 players must own the chopper to play in multicrew?

- Only the UH-1H has the multicrew support?

- Is multicrew working well or kinda bugged ?

I don't have this DLC, but according to the DLC's description, on DLC's page, the multicrew function is not implemented yet. Promised in the future, but not implemented. You can switch between pilot's and gunner's seats while you flying alone, but you can't play it in cooperative mode.

Then why i've found plenty of videos on YouTube of players playing in the same cockpit ?

I doubt that unless it's a mod of some kind. It's much more likely that they were simply jumping from one seat to the other then edited the video. Multi-crew was included in a patch a while back by accident but it was pretty rapidly patched out.

You can play multi-crew in the Gazelle but AFAIK it's quite buggy. The F-14 multi-crew works well though.

Hopefully UH-1 multi-crew will hit sometime this year and there is the Mi-24 to look forward to which (should) have multi-crew from launch

We really need multicrew. Currently its not supported.

You only see one slot for each Huey unlike the F14 where you see a slot for the pilot and the RIO.

I really hope it's coming soon.
Anybody knows if they are working on it??

Yeah the word from the community managers is they are hoping to get it out this year but as with all things DCS this is subject to change.

It is being worked on, it is coming, it's just a question of when
