DCS World Steam Edition

Planes Transfered to DCS
I purchased three planes on Steam (SU-33,SU-27 and a MIG-21Bis.).
I brought them to the DCS site per instructions and activated them.
The planes show up as license planes on the DCS site, but they do not show up in game (no icons, no planes).
I attempted to contact DCS.
I received a reply that they need a 'screenshot' and 'logs'.
I don't have screenshots of the planes, because, I don't have the planes..that's the problem.
I just want the planes to show up in game.
In hindsight, I should have just downloaded the DCS World from the site and not Steam.
This has been time consuming and a real headache and still not resolved.

I went to the download page.
I clicked..they want $49.99 for the plane.
I already payed that on Steam.

You need to install them on the DCS client. When you start DCS World, there is a grid button at the top of the screen (the module manager). Click on that and it should pop up the option to install the planes. If it doesn't, then look through there and confirm that the planes are showing as bought. This only works with the Standalone client. If you're running it through Steam, then Steam manages which DLC are installed.

They want screenshots proving that you bought it and it's not showing up in your game, not that you're flying the planes.

Not sure what to make of you buying it on Steam and not seeing it as bought on Steam. Something is wrong. Did you actually buy it on Steam? Or did you buy it somewhere else and register it on Steam?

Hi, yes, I bought the planes on Steam.
There is a procedure to transfer them to the stand alone DCS client.
I followed the procedure, activated the planes and they show up in my inventory in my profile.
But they do not show up in game.
I will try your suggestion about the client.
Thank you very much for your advise.

You need to go to your ED store profile page (same one that used to bind your steam account to your ED profile) and show you own the planes on Steam and have linked them to your ED account.

You are looking for "Steam Account get Licenses" and/or "License Check - All Active Licenses"

The FAQ is here https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/500/#1510447

IIRC Module Manager should notify you have a new module available to install, either way the new aircraft should show up there.
