FPS Drop Low-Level Flying
Flying the Spitfire on the Caucasus map and occasionally when flying low level near trees the frame rate will drop dramatically before jumping back to normal again. Any ideas what might solve this issue?

PC - i7 9700K, RTX 2070, 1TB SSD, 32GB RAM

Thanks

Yep. 100%. If you set cloud density to 4 or less, you will get a significant FPB improvement compared to 5-8.

morphological anti aliasing need to be OFF, you can find the setting in your graphic card driver

I got a similar system, you shold got a frame range 50-100 FPS with this setting, or even more with your CPU.

My specs i7 6700K 4.5 Ghz, RX 5700 XT OC, SSD, 32GB RAM

Tell me how much frames you get.

Deleting the shader cash can help too.

There is no morphological AA in Nvidia Control Panel. Maybe you're referring to FXAA?
Thanks for the replies.

The problem I think lies with the Static weather model and cloud density being set too high. Subsequently found out the Static WX model isn't well optimised, which is a shame but I'll work something out.
