F18 ACM RADAR MODES?

where do i find these radar acquisition modes on the control so i can hotkey them?

Sensor select right brings you into AACQ automatic acquisition mode (next target available).

Sensor select forward will bring you into boresight acquisition mode (10nm).
Sensor select forward, back will bring you into VACQ vertiacl acquisition mode (5nm).
Sensor select forward, left will bring you into WACQ wide horizontal acquisition mode (10nm).

When using the HMD (helmet mounted sight) you will also be able to use HACQ (helmet acquisition 10nm) and LACQ (long-range helmet 40nm).

Switching to gun will always trigger GACQ (gun acquisition 5nm).

Enter "Controls" and search for "Sensor select". You can bind them to whatever you want.

I suggest you bind them to an axis on your HOTAS because you will need these buttons all the time to switch between your multi-function-displays (MFDs), to acquire targets in dogfights and to use several weapons/systems.

PS: Are you using a keyboard? I hope not...

i use both my hotas and the keyboard lol

Me too, but I only have irrelevant controls on the keyboard which I need on the ground or for communication. The important things I need during flight are bound to my HOTAS.
