Is there a reason I shouldn't just get this from ED? I mean the base game is free isn't it and Steam are dragging their feet a bit here.

and there's still free planes for a week on ED. If I'd known this I'd never have bought A10C from Steam. I'm getting rather annoyed now and it's only going to get worse. I shall become irritated next I think.

If you want, you can transfer from Steam to ED's standalone client, but not the other way.

Steam sales usually start at 10am Pacific time, so I would guess it will hit in another 10 minutes or so.

Im Shop (auf der Homepage) von DCS gibt es die Angebote. Auch die kostenlose Testphase. Aber diese Module sind nicht mit der Steam-Version von DCS kompatibel. Gibt es überhaupt einen Sale auf Steam? Ich würde gerne die F/A18C ( Korrektur ) kaufen :)

Ja laut News auf DCS Homepage würde der heute starten.

Auf Steam
Spielt die F/A-18C Hornet, F-16C Viper, A-10C Warthog, F-5E Tiger II, Persian-Gulf-Karte und alle WWII-Module für zwei Wochen kostenlos vom 19. April bis 3. Mai. Zwischen dem 13. und 27. Mai wird es einen Rabatt von 50 % auf alle DCS-Module geben, ausgenommen F-14B und Viggen.

*Ausnahmen:

Alle Kampagnen, F-14B und AJS-37 Viggen, die JF-17 "Thunder" werdet ihr mit einem Rabatt von 15 USD kaufen können.
